My First Blog

I have been thinking about the word “Gratitude” defined by Webster-Merriam as the state of being grateful: thankfulness. I find the word soothing, calming and joyous and I would inscribe it on an ornament and hang it on my Christmas tree as a reminder. This year has been a challenging and changing one for each and every one of us with the impacts of COVID19 felt here at home and around the world. As I take a moment to reflect and turn inward, I am grateful for my supportive family and friends, caring community and new experiences. I have started doing yoga, making bread, organizing closets, ran the Mesa Falls half marathon and this year became a breast cancer survivor! And, I have created a website to promote my book, The Fire She Set and this is my first Blog that I am eager to share with my readers. Wishing you a season of hope, health and gratitude as we celebrate the Holidays and more blogs to come!
