March is here and what better way to celebrate the month than joining a book club, or sharing The Fire She Set with your own book club? Recently, I participated in a Book Club Zoom call with some friends who read The Fire She Set and wanted to learn more about my story. The discussion was lively, open and heartwarming.
I will include their questions on the website for other book clubs which may be interested. I hope to meet some of my book readers later this summer, and host more book signings. If your book club is looking for time with the author, please contact me and we can set it up. Lisa is also available to participate.
If your book club would like to have a discussion without the authors present, I’ve also composed some questions for discussions. Please feel free to use these, modify them and of course, share with your friends.
March gives us another reason to celebrate. As Women’s History Month, March offers us a time to reflect on ourselves and each other, our challenges and accomplishments. The coming of spring signals a time of new beginnings. As we empower others, we are empowered to live our lives with happiness, success, and pride.
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.” — Brené Brown
