July Blog – Hot and Fast

JULY BLOG – HOT AND FAST

As July days race by in a hot and fast blur, our summer calendars fill up with travel and holiday plans.  I realized July is already over a week old as I sit down to write this blog to share with my faithful followers.

Although it was planned for July, the most exciting event occurred on June 19th! My first grandchild made an early debut much to everyone’s surprise! Mom and baby are doing well and Dad celebrated Father’s Day with his newborn son!  A beautiful, miracle child and I love my promotion to “Grandma”.

July 4th came quickly with its usual barrage of noise, picnics and fireworks, and there is nothing like small town celebrations to honor America.  We attended the local rodeo where kids 16 and under rode bulls; we all enjoyed BBQ ribs with all the fixings, and watched amazing fireworks from our front yards spectacular displays lit up the night sky!

July weather is here, hot and hotter, as our local valley fills up with fishermen here to experience first class fly fishing; families camping and hiking the mountains and tourists from all over the world passing through to visit Jackson Hole.  So, find your place in the sun and enjoy a good book. I recommend The Fire She Set, which is available for purchase on Amazon or your favorite bookstore, to read on Kindle or listen to on Audible.
