December has quietly arrived on a blanket of snow heralding a soon to be white Christmas in Idaho.  There is a feeling in the air of anticipation and a sense of hurry up to greet the season of giving, sharing and celebrating the holidays with friends and loved ones.

Leigh Overton Boyd is the oldest of four sisters to survive a house fire outside of Atlantic City in June 1974 that killed her parents.  In the years following the fire investigation, Leigh earned a degree in criminal justice, studied the law and became Miss Atlantic City.  The mother of two children, one of whom she lost to muscular dystrophy, she has her own real estate consulting company in the San Francisco Bay Area.  The Fire She Set is her first book.
