Namaste
On Monday mornings I join my sister and her daughter to participate in Lisa’s Morning Yoga Class on Zoom (Lisa is an instructor). This starts my day focused with positive intentions, a quiet mind, and a great stretch. As part of that wonderful yoga practice, I made time to reflect on 2021 as November slides into December.
Like last year, we are still navigating through Covid19 which impacts what we can do, where we can go and who we see. It also remains a very political and divisive issue, not just on the global front, but here in the US and even within our own family, we remain strongly divided. However, I am happy to say I am fully vaccinated, Covid19-free and also cancer free after winning my battle with breast cancer last year. Yoga, Zumba classes and running/walking here in Idaho with our two dogs helps keep me physically and mentally in good health.
We celebrated some milestones this year. Sister Liz celebrated her 60th journey around the sun on Veteran’s Day. Lisa’s two daughters each got married in small, private ceremonies. Les came to visit with her daughter and grandchildren, and my daughter started a new job!
As we start our holiday celebrations, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, a blessed Kwanzaa, and a joyous and prosperous New Year!
